Tlačová struna poľského výrobcu Devil Design je ponúkaná v širokej palete farieb. Výrobca garantuje hrúbku tlačovej struny +/-0,05 mm.
PLA tlačová struna 1,75 mm hnedá Devil Design 1 kg je najuniverzálnejším materiálom pre technológiu tlače FDM, vhodným aj pre tlač veľkých predmetov. Vedľa ABS je najpoužívanejším materiálom pre 3D tlač metódou extrúzie termoplastu. PLA je materiál pružný, tvrdý a odolný, rovnako ako iné plasty. Treba však zabezpečiť suché prostredie na skladovanie. Pri zlom skladovaní vo vlhkom prostredí pohlcuje vlhkosť.
Tlačová struna je vákuovo zabalená spolu s pohlcovačom vlhkosti a umiestnená v kartónovej krabici. V každom balení je vložený štítok s informáciou o odporúčanom nastavení tlačových teplôt.
Vonkajší priemer 200mm, vnútorný otvor 52mm, šírka 70mm. Hmotnosť cievky vrátane obalu 1,4kg.

Filaments from the Polish company Devil Design are offered in a wide range of colors. The manufacturer guarantees a thickness of +/- 0.05 mm.
PLA filament 1,75 mm brown from Devil Design company. PLA is the most frequently used material for FDM printing technology, suitable for printing large objects.
The filament is vacuum-packed together with a moisture absorber in a cardboard box. A label with information on the recommended print temperature settings is included in each package.

When and why to use PLA:
PLA filament is easily printable, it is biodegradable (hence also environmentally friendly). However, it is not a material that is suitable to be used outdoors, because in such case it degrades and brittle under UV light. Also, it is not heat resistant. Even at temperatures 30 - 50 °C the material softens and deforms. For that reason, it is not recommended to drive with such prints in the car. PLA is a flammable material. It is therefore recommended to leave the printer unattended (for longer periods of time) while printing with this material.
PLA surface treatment - the material is not easily sanded while grinding (friction) generates heat and that causes the fibers to “pull” from the print. Therefore, when sanding by hand, it is recommended to cool the printout, for example by sanding underwater. For the same reason, it is also difficult to drill holes in the printout (again, a heating problem). It is suitable to spray the material with a filler first (filler used in modeling) and then sand it and repaint it, and again, and again - until the material is absolutely smooth and at the end spray it with the paint. The resulting model can be also inserted into the “saucepan” along with the shells, stones, remnants of filaments, and pieces of prints...
PLA gluing: instant glue with spray activator (sometimes instant glue alone can be sufficient)
Recommended setting for PLA print: Commonly used nozzles are suitable. Diameters can be chosen according to the fineness of the surface which we want to achieve or according to the setting of the layer thickness during printing. You can use a simple conversion formula for this optimal setting. The rule is +- 0.2 mm is enough - i.e. if we want a layer thickness of 1.25, the nozzle diameter should not be greater than 0.3 mm. If there is a larger layer, use a larger diameter of the nozzle, for weaker ones, use a smaller one.
Temperature (of the bed) - warming is not required or if there is a better adhesion of the material needed, heated bed up to 50 °C.
Setting: Print temperature: 210 °C, retraction 0,8mm, speed 60mm/s (outline 70%), layer 0,2mm - 0,05mm. When using the printer with PEI foil, it is necessary to decrease the pad well. The resulting print is smooth, slightly glossy, and without visible errors.
Printing PLA material with supports - Suitable supports for prints are from the same material, so PLA or PVA (water-soluble material) is not suitable for HIPS.
We highly recommended a dry environment for storage. When stored poorly and in a humid environment, it absorbs moisture which results in bubbles on the surface when printed.

Devil Design je európsky výrobca plastových strún pre 3D tlač. Spoločnosť bola založená v roku 2012 a v roku 2014 zahájila výrobu vlastného vlákna používaného v 3D tlačiarňach.
Devil Design využil nové pokročilé technologické procesy, vďaka ktorým sú struny vo vysokej kvalite, bez bublín a neobsahují žiadne nečistoty, ktoré by mohly spôsobovať problémy pri tlači. Priemer a tvar strún je testovaný v priebehu výrobného procesu a vďaka tomu výrobca garantuje fixný priemer každej struny. Pre zachovanie najvyššej kvality materiálu je každá cievka vákuovo zabalená společne s vysúšacím vrecúškom a vložená do kartónovej krabice a doplnená o etiketu popisujúcu obsah. Výrobca tiež uvádza doporučené nastavenie pre 3D tlač.
